Effective March 1, 2009,
on new and renewal policies, RLI is offering the option to add a second location to Home Business Insurance policies. Eligibility requirements are as follows: 2nd location - risks may store BPP at a second location, but may not operate their business from a second location, other than a secondary residence. The following examples of an eligible second location:
1. Insured rents or owns a second home
2. Partnership / Corporation - Two owners of each working from their own home. (Note: A third location may be added by endorsement with underwriting approval.)
3. Storage Units (Maximum Size: 250 square feet)
4. Outbuildings located on insured's premises, but more than 100 feet away from their home (any size).
